Welcome to the bhtaxiforum.co.uk website for the Brighton & Hove cab trade...........

The purpose of this site is to provided a one-stop information and discussion place for all matters relating to the Brighton & Hove Taxi & Private-Hire trade. Additionally we are now encouraging people from the trade outside of Brighton & Hove to contribute to  any national trade matters. This site is now under the umbrella of the GMB Brighton & Hove Taxi Section... however.. . please note that you do not have to be a member of the GMB to join the online forum




Never before has there been trade information available for the Brighton & Hove Taxi Trade for both Hackney Carriage & Private-Hire proprietors & drivers in this format.

What you are looking at now is the main bhtaxiforum.co.uk  website which contains several pages of information where anybody can view this main website. 

However.... the actual fully interactive  Brighton & Hove Taxi Trade Forum Online...  "www.bhtaxiforum.co.uk/forum " is limited to registered users only. This online  trade  Forum allows people to discuss current issues both locally ... and indeed on a national basis. The image to the right below is what the Online Forum looks like.... and below is a sample of the live forum... but you need to register to to view the full online forum site.

On this Home site that you are on now you do have access to general..  but limited... information... but there is much more on the Forum.

Also.... there is a touch of "friendly" banter going on... & a bit of gossip.. much the same as on the ranks & in the cafes.

Additionally the Online Forum sends out trade  "NewsMail" emails to all registered members (unless the member declines to receive them.)  If you would like to be on the trade mailing list but prefer not to join the forum then just email: admin@bhtaxiforum.co.uk  with your name and a request to be placed on the mailing list.

What you can read about on the actual forum as a registered member, all of the above, plus:
There reason for this is that as it is a forum where anyone can express their veiws it is better to keep such views for membership viewing only.  Please ensure that you read the conditions for subscribing to the the forum before you sign up.,

You need to create a "Username" for yourself which can be anything you want... as long as it is clean!     You then need to create a "Password!"

Additionally, if you forget your Username or Password they can be retrieved and sent to your registered email address.

If you decide not to use your true email address then it is recommended that you create an email address that you will always have access for receiving news and information or you will not receive any "Trade News" emails We suggest that you use something like gmail, yahoo or aol etc but remember to check for any forum emails.

Also.. when you first register you will receive email notification when Admin activates your account. Account activation is usually completed within a few hours. If you have used a temporary email address... and consequently you do not received confirmation that your account is activated ...just try logging on using your chosen Username and Password.
